Monterey Bay Charter School
The Monterey Bay Charter School, a Waldorf-methods public K - 8 school is seeking qualified candidates for the position of School Director. After 5 years guiding our school through charter re-authorization and WASC accreditation, our esteemed Director will be moving on this summer to be closer to family. We are looking for a candidate to fill his very big shoes! The Director collaborates with the Dean of Faculty to successfully uphold the philosophy and curriculum with the entire school community while maintaining good standing with the school’s charter sponsor and other governmental entities partnering with Monterey Bay Charter School (MBCS) in its charter. The successful candidate will embrace an active parent population and a strongly committed faculty. The Director will demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, management and fundraising skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while staying within expected deadlines. The candidate must be skilled at handling sensitive and confidential information and situations. Competence with standard MS Office products necessary. A California administrator’s credential and a minimum of Masters degree is required. Salary is DOE and includes medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, sick leave and paid vacation. Director of Admissions

High Mowing School
High Mowing School, located in Wilton, New Hampshire, has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Admissions. The Director of Admissions reports to the Administrator, and works closely with the Faculty, Admissions Committee, Enrollment Committee, Director of Development, and Finance Director. The Director of Admissions makes regular reports to the Faculty Council, and Board of Trustees. Responsibilities include: overseeing the admissions process from tracking inquiries to completion of the enrollment contract, designing and implementing outreach and marketing plan, and design, production and distribution of promotional material. This position involves a good amount of travel around the country and occasionally overseas. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in education, business or related field, experience in a multifunction office, comprehensive knowledge of Waldorf educational philosophy and pedagogy, and excellent organizational, writing, oral, and presentation skills. Candidate should have strong computer skills, experience with data base management, and a demonstrated ability to supervise employees and volunteers. High Mowing School, founded in 1942, is the oldest Waldorf High School in America, and the only one to offer a boarding program. We have 115 students, with a little more than half boarding.
