Heart To Hand School
Heart To Hand School (HeartToHand.org) is the only Waldorf school in Nevada. Located in the vibrant community of Reno – a paradise for artists and outdoor enthusiasts alike – we are a Preschool/Kindergarten with plans to open a second P/K in 2008 and a grade school ASAP. Corvallis Waldorf School
Corvallis Waldorf School in Corvallis, Oregon seeks an After School Care director. This is a half-time position, for school year 2008-2009. We are looking for an individual who possesses the ability to implement Waldorf principals in a harmonious environment and to oversee the After School Care program.
This is a salaried position with 25 hours a week. The program hours are Monday through Friday 12:30-5:30.
The Director position requires billing for participating families as well as coordinating staff hours. Each day the director will interact with the children, maintain the After School Care rooms, follow the daily rhythm and fulfill administrative duties.
The candidate must be CPR-First Aid certified and have 30 credit hours in early childhood development or the minimum of 1 year experience working with children.

The Ithaca Children's School
Ithaca’s Waldorf School, the Ithaca Children’s School, is seeking an after-school specialist. We welcome all teachers with experience in after school programming. Applicants with a college degree and Waldorf teaching experience and/or training preferred. Salary ranges from $11-$12 per hour. This is part-time position, 15-18 hours per week.
With a combined experience of over 50 years of Waldorf teaching, our current faculty of 5 (3 kindergarten and 2 grades teachers) is fully committed to the ideals of Anthroposophy. We have a supportive and talented parent body eager to develop our small but growing school. The school owns over 50 acres of land, which we hope to build on in the future. The land is currently home to a kindergarten and a small biodynamic farm.
Our school is located in the beautiful small city of Ithaca, New York, located in the Finger Lakes region of New York at the southern most end of Cayuga Lake. Surrounded by natural beauty, it is characterized by forested hills, deep gorges, and spectacular waterfalls. Home to Cornell University and Ithaca College, Ithaca has traditionally attracted musicians, artisans, and academics providing for a rich and varied cultural life, ideal for raising a family.

Waldorf School of the Peninsula
We are seeking a Waldorf trained and experienced teacher as a full time aftercare director for students from Kindergarden through 8th grade. Quailfied candidates will be able to work well with parents and colleagues and who will join us in deepening our work together through anthroposophy. With a nursery, three kindergartens and grades one through nine, we are a community of 23 full-time faculty members and 250 students. Vancouver Waldorf School
PART-TIME EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
Half-time temporary position in afternoon childcare program
Available September 2008, for one year only.
Requirements include an ECE Certificate. Waldorf Teacher Training and experience preferred.
The successful applicant will be joining an enthusiastic faculty and energetic community. Vancouver is home to several Anthroposophical study groups, Anthroposophical doctors and therapists and a Christian Community church. The temperate climate provides year-round activities such as skiing, hiking and biking. Vancouver is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, one of the best places to live, and is a well-known multi-cultural centre with art galleries, museums, theatres, restaurants, colleges and universities.
Our school, now in its 39th year, offers a full Early Childhood to Grade Twelve program. Our newly completed and anthroposophically designed Early Childhood Centre houses our Early Childhood programs. Our current site development plan includes completing the building of the remaining buildings on one campus, including the Grade School, High School and Performance Hall. We operate with clearly defined three-fold governance/operational structure, and includes the following: an Executive Group oversees the day-to-day operations of the school, and ensures that all issues are carried and resolved appropriately and expeditiously, a Pedagogical Carrying Group and a Committee/Task Groups system effectively empowers Faculty to participate in the running of the school, a carefully designed administrative structure with developed protocols and procedures support the work of the faculty and provides friendly and supportive service to the families that seek Waldorf education, a Parent Council, renewed music and foreign language programs, as well as Kim Payne�s Social Inclusion Program and a Social Inclusion Program Coordinator/Counsellor, and a functioning Community & Resource Development department. We are a full-member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America, the Federation of Independent Schools Association in British Columbia, and are fully certified by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. We regularly host Waldorf conferences and speakers, Early Childhood Teacher Training courses offered by the West Coast Institute for Studies in Anthroposophy, and conferences offered by sister Anthroposophical organizations in Vancouver.
Remuneration is CDN $14,000 - $17,000 per annum for 20hours/week, depending on experience and qualifications.

Greenwood School, a small Waldorf-inspired K-8 elementary school located in downtown Mill Valley, Marin County, is currently recruiting a teacher to lead the after school Extended Day Programs for Grades 1 – 6 on Mondays through Fridays during the school year and to organize the holiday camps and enrichment programs for the same grades.
