Eurythmy Teacher, Primary Years

Mt Barker Waldorf School
Eurythmy teacher for Kindergarten and Grades 1 to 6, a half time position. If you are the successful person you need to have completed a four-year course in an accredited eurythmy school and also have training in pedagogical eurythmy. You are required to teach age and class-appropriate material based on an anthroposophical view of the child and their development. Salary is according to our school's enterprise agreement and is based on years of teaching experience. You would be required to be registered with the state teachers registration board. Teachers qualifications would be an advantage. The position is available now. A valid visa for entry to Australia would be required as the school cannot sponsor someone for this position. Work at one of two other Waldorf Schools may complete a full time position.

Full Time Eurythmy Teacher for 08-09

Pine Hill Waldorf School
Pine Hill Waldorf School invites trained eurythmy teachers to apply for a 2008-09 position. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, able to work effectively with colleagues and parents, and have completed their Waldorf teacher training. We are looking for an individual who will participate actively in the committee and festival work that is so important to the life of our community. Our school is in its 35th year and offers a full Waldorf program for students from nursery through grade eight, as well as a parent-child program for infants and toddlers. We also recently began the first Waldorf-inspired child care center in the country in collaboration with a local public school system, serving children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. We are a full member school of AWSNA, a member of the Association of Independent Schools of Northern New England (AISNE), and are accredited by both groups. The experienced teaching faculty, led by a College of Teachers, is dynamic and brings a wealth of diverse experiences to Pine Hill. Our well-developed curriculum includes a renowned middle school circus, a comprehensive music program and Waldorf-based remedial services. Active mentoring helps support new teachers in their work. We offer a competitive salary with benefits and 90% tuition remission at Pine Hill, and at High Mowing (a Waldorf high school) across the road. Pine Hill is located in Wilton, NH, a beautiful rural community with hills and forests. Our anthroposophically-inspired building is beautifully set on 47 acres, with walking paths, a pond, and extensive playgrounds and fields. There are many opportunities for all-season outdoor recreation and cultural activities. The community is home to an anthroposophic physician, an active biodynamic CSA farm, a vibrant branch of the Anthroposophical Society, a growing congregation of the Christian Community and several Camphill-type communities for adults with disabilities. There are on-going opportunities for continuing education through The Center for Anthroposophy in Wilton and Antioch University New England (Teacher Training Program) in Keene. Full time Grades School Eurythmy Teacher

Fulltime Grades School Eurythmy Teacher for Fall 2008. The school is seeking a full-time eurythmy teacher to teach in the elementary and middle school. The position consists of teaching 18 periods per week and involves working with colleagues to develop and implement a rich program for the school that reflects the curriculum and development of the students as closely as possible. High School Eurythmist

Hawthorne Valley School
Hawthorne Valley School, a nursery-12th grade Waldorf school located in the beautiful Hudson Valley area in Ghent, NY is seeking a half-time eurythmist for our high school program beginning for the 2008-09 school year. We offer our high school students a curriculum that includes pedagogical eurythmy in grades 9-12 and performances in the 11th and 12th grade years. The eurythmy program is brought to the students primarily in a block structure. Our school, established in 1973, serves approximately 300 children. We are a full member of AWSNA and accredited by the NY State Association of Independent Schools as well.
