Haleakala Waldorf School
The Haleakala Waldorf School in Maui, Hawaii is searching for a first grade class teacher for our 2008-09 school year. Our school is 35 years old and a full member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA), Hawaii Association of Independent Schools (HAIS), and National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Haleakala Waldorf School is the first Waldorf school in the nation to receive a triple accreditation from WASC, HAIS, and AWSNA.. HWS is situated on a mature, charming, and historic campus on the slopes of Haleakala crater, serving 250 children from preschool through eighth grade. The school is located in a rural, pastoral environment; the arts are vitally alive on the island, as are many varieties of outdoor activities. Hawaiiana is a strong and unique cultural aspect to our Waldorf curriculum. Classes at HWS are generally no larger then 24 students. Department meetings are bi-weekly rotating with committee meetings during the same time. Faculty meetings are also on a bi-weekly schedule, convening on Thursday afternoon. Teachers are expected to serve on two committees during the school year. We are looking for a mature, trained, and experienced colleague to hold this important class teacher position within our Waldorf school program. This teacher will help to provide the foundation for parents and children at HWS. We expect the teacher to commit to graduating their class through eighth grade. Qualified teachers must have a bachelor’s degree along with having completed Waldorf teacher training. The base pay for the position being offered is $40,000 with a cap at $60,000 based on $1,000 for each year’s experience in a Waldorf school as well as compensation for completion of advanced degrees. Rudolf Steiner School
The Rudolf Steiner School, a nursery through 12th grade school, located on New York City's Upper East Side, was the first Waldorf School in North America. We are looking for an experienced, Waldorf trained, first grade teacher who will thrive in an exciting urban environment and is ready to become a long-time faculty member. We have a well-seasoned faculty including many senior specialty teachers and offer our students the full spectrum of experiences that Waldorf pedagogy has to offer. We have two large and vibrant kindergartens, two nursery classes, and one parent child class all of which contribute to a large and healthy first grade class.

Sacramento Waldorf School

CLASS TEACHER NEEDED
Santa Cruz Waldorf School is seeking a Class Teacher for grade 1 for the 2008-2009 school year.
Celebrating over 30 years, our school owns its campus of seven beautiful acres surrounded by mountains and redwood forest only 10 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz and the beach. Our program includes Kindergarten through 12th Grade, with a wide variety of special subjects including gardening, handwork, eurythmy, Spanish, music, art and physical education. The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs was founded in 1981 and currently serves 240 children from nursery through 12th grade. Our Early Childhood building houses a parent-tot program, 2 year old class, pre-school and Kindergarten. Linden Corner School
Linden Corner School (Linden Waldorf School) seeks a teacher for the 2008-09 school year to begin the educational journey of 20 eager, imaginative first graders. Front Range Waldorf School in Lakewood, Colorado is looking for YOU!!!! White Mountain Waldorf School
We are seeking a warm, energetic and creative individual with an insight into to child development and experience in classroom management to teach our rising First Grade Class for the 2008/2009 school year.The White Mountain Waldorf School will celebrate its 24th year of operation with the 2008 – 2009 school year. Through an energetic spirit and an abundance of love and enthusiasm our school has grown from one Kindergarten to our present size which serves over 100 children with 20 faculty members.
