Cincinnati Waldorf School
The Cincinnati Waldorf School was founded in 1973 as an early childhood center and is currently an AWSNA developing school. At present, the school offers programs including Music with Babies, Parents & Tots, nursery, kindergarten and first through eighth grades. A class teacher makes a commitment to guide a group of children and their parents on a journey (Early Childhood: 1-2 years, Grades: 4-8 years). A lead class teacher has the responsibility to appropriately model through his/her activities in and around the school. The teacher must be able to focus on the children, both as a formed group and as individuals. Lead Teachers work with their colleagues to develop programs and curriculum. They work with special subject teachers and supervise assistants for their grade level.
