Upper Valley Waldorf School
The Upper Valley Waldorf School, located in Quechee, VT, is seeking an experienced, dynamic, Waldorf-trained class teacher to become a member of our Middle School Team and to take next year’s Seventh Grade Class. This is a small, but extraordinary group of boys and girls, most of whom have been together since first grade. Their parents are very involved and supportive. We have been revitalizing our Middle School Program and look forward to next year with excitement as we work to meet more closely the academic, social and emotional needs of the developing twelve to fourteen year-old. Middle School class teachers will teach a block or two in other Middle School grades and there will be some team teaching across grade levels so that the students experience several different teaching styles. We are seeking an experienced teacher, willing to work on developing our program with us and to support the learning and social development of all Middle School students, to meet these seventh grade students and help them complete their wonderful eight-year journey. Although we would welcome a longer-term commitment from qualified applicants, our first priority is to ensure that this class is well met with a full and vibrant Waldorf seventh and eighth grade curriculum. The Hill School of New Orleans, is beginning its’ Annual Teacher Search early this year.
