Alan Howard Waldorf School
The Alan Howard Waldorf School, located in the heart of Toronto, is a dynamic, downtown school now in its 21st. year and is a full member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. Founded by a small group of parents and friends in 1987, the school has enjoyed steady growth since it first opened. The school buildings are in a residential neighbourhood with an extensive ravine park close by. It is also close to both the subway and the downtown core. This is a very exciting time to be joining the Alan Howard family. Carefully planned growth has blossomed into a brand new Child Care Centre to be officially opened September, 2008. New colleagues would be joining an energetic faculty, most of who have Waldorf Teacher Training, with between 5 and 20 years of Waldorf teaching experience. We are blessed with a supportive parent body and a strong Board of Trustees. We offer a full Waldorf Curriculum including, French, eurythmy, music, German, woodwork and physical education. The Waldorf approach recognizes that children have distinct, age-related educational and emotional needs according to their naturally unfolding stages of development. Grade 7th Class Teacher

Cuernavaca Waldorf School
The Cuernavaca Waldorf School in Mexico currently has about 60 students in Kindergarten and about 100 students in grades 1st through 6th. The school is planning to open 7th grade for the academic year 2009-2010 and 8th grade for the academic year 2010-2011. The school will require an experienced 7th grade Waldorf teacher at the end of August 2009. Ideally the candidate would also have experience in mentoring and a thorough knowledge of the curriculum in 7th and 8th grades, in which case he/she could join our school at the end of August 2008 for the purpose of leading the planning and organization work required for the opening of 7th and 8th grades, including giving advice or some training to the complementary subject teachers for their future work with the students of these grades. The candidate must be able to communicate in Spanish. Currently the school offers a full curriculum including: Handwork, Eurythmy, Watercolour Work, Music, Movement Education and English as second language.
