Corvallis Waldorf School
The Corvallis Waldorf School is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher.
The Corvallis Waldorf School was founded in 1993 and currently has 121 children enrolled in Parent-Child, Preschool, Kindergarten through Grade 8. We are a developing member school of AWSNA. Our school has ten full-time faculty members and offers specialty classes in Eurythmy, Spanish, Strings, Woodworking, Choir and Handwork. We have access to curative Eurythmy and anthroposophical medicine in the nearby cities of Portland and Eugene. There are active anthroposophical study groups in the community. We strive to bring the living principles of Waldorf education to our school. We also offer an after-school care program.
Our Early Childhood Program has a parent/child group, one existing preschool and two kindergartens. Due to a growing need in our community for Waldorf early childhood education, we are now seeking an experienced Waldorf trained lead teacher for additional preschool. This position is a four-day program, salaried with benefits including health care coverage. We are looking for an open minded, flexible individual who is seeking warm collegial relations, who is open to mentoring and who is striving anthroposophically..
Corvallis is located in the Willamette Valley, between the Coast Range and the Cascade Mountains, in close proximity to rivers, mountains, farmland and the rugged Oregon Coast. Corvallis supports a lively music and arts community, and is home to Oregon State University.

Blue Sky Kindergarten/preschool
Blue Sky Kindergarten/preschool seeks a experienced teacher for one of their mixed age classrooms.
We are a small school, one of the oldest in Boulder. Our little school village has been here since 1954. It has 2 classrooms of mixed age children nestled in the middle of a beautiful North Boulder neighborhood. The Cape Ann Waldorf School is seeking an experienced, Waldorf trained teacher for our Early Childhood Program for the 2008-2009 school year. This full time position will either be leading parent-child programs or be a combination of parent-child leader and Nursery Teacher. Our healthy, thriving school, now in its 22nd year, is a full member of AWSNA. We have eight grades with a program that include physical education, music (chorus, strings, and orchestra) handwork, foreign languages (German and Spanish), and Eurythmy. In addition, we offer a variety of Early Childhood classes that include two kindergartens, two nurseries, and a full-time parent-child program.
Our faculty is a diverse, multi-generational group of men and women. We are a mix of both new and experienced teachers. We are committed to faculty support and development and provide ongoing mentoring and regular evaluation. We have an established College of Teachers with a strong commitment to studying and working out of Anthroposophy. We are located in a picturesque area just north of Boston, Massachusetts along the north shore coast. Although we are primarily a residential area filled with wooded areas and beaches, we are a short commuter train ride to the city Boston with its world class symphony orchestra, museums, universities, and a Christian Community Church.

Madrone Trail Public Charter School
MADRONE TRAIL PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL The Madrone Trail Public Charter School is a Waldorf-inspired charter school that opened in September 2007. The school currently has grades K-2, and is adding one grade per year until it becomes a K-8 school of approximately 220 students. We are currently seeking a candidate for Kindergarten Assistant. This is an hourly position of 20 hours a week. Although our school is young, there is a 30 year tradition of private Waldorf education in the area. We are fortunate to have experienced Waldorf teachers who act as advisors, mentors, and evaluators for our school and faculty. Cedar Bridge School
Cedar Bridge Kinderhouse, a Waldorf Early Childhood initiative in the interior of British Columbia is seeking a Waldorf Trained Teacher/Assistant Teacher starting September 1,2008.
The position is working with the lead teacher two mornings a week teaching a group of eight children in a Waldorf morning program. The children are age 3 to 6, the hours are 22 hours a week. If the candidate has a British Columbia approved Early Childhood Education Certificate more hours are available.
The role of the two-day a week Teacher is to create and implement a Waldorf early childhood program for preschool children. Working collegially is an aspect of this role. The other two days the role of the Assistant Teacher is to give direct support to the Lead Teacher in implementation of the program two mornings a week. The wage for this combined position is $18.00 per hour or $19,800 per year.
We offer paid Christmas and spring break holidays and sick days. Mentorship, parent education evenings and study nourish the staff and families.
