Roots and Wings Preschool
Seeking early childhood assistant for small preschool (Roots and Wings) on lovely Vashon Island, WA. This position is a wonderful opportunity for a recent graduate, or someone with a Waldorf background and experience with young children.
We will have 12 3+4 year old children Monday-Wednesday, 4 hours per day. There are opportunities to create more hours through aftercare, and providing childcare on Thursday/Friday, and non school days. Hours can be tailored to your needs and wishes. Hourly wage is $15/hr. Vashon Island is a 15 minute ferry ride from Seattle, making it truly the best of both worlds. You can live on this beautiful island full of natural beauty and outdoor activities, and enjoy city life whenever you wish!
Vashon Island has a vibrant and involved community of families, organic gardeners, and artists. It is a very supportive and close community, and a wonderful place to raise children.
I am looking for someone that can work closely with me to create a wonderful space for our children. A loving, kind and nurturing person that loves doing this work.
If you are a new graduate looking to put your training into practice this is a wonderful opportunity for your first year of teaching, with space to take your own class the following year.

River Song Waldorf Early Childhood School in Fort Collins, Colorado is seeking an experienced full-time Early Childhood Teaching Assistant starting March 3, 2008. We are an Early Childhood center housed in a loving, homelike space. We have two mixed age classrooms of children 2 ½ to 5 years of age. We maintain 6 to 1 and 7 to 1 child to teacher ratios. Waldorf School of Cape Cod
The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is looking for a part-time or full-time lead Nursery teacher starting in the 2008/2009 school year. Our ideal candidate has Waldorf Early Childhood teaching experience, has completed or is near completing a Waldorf Teacher Training course and holds a Bachelor’s degree. We are eager to meet candidates who possess strong communication skills, flexibility, commitment, ability to work well with others, creativity, and knowledge of child development in light of Anthroposophy.
Our Early Childhood program consists of a parent-child program, 3 to 5 year-old class, and Kindergarten. Our Grades School serves grades 1 through 8, and offers a richness of experience in both class teachers and the special subjects (eurythmy, handwork, French, music and spatial dynamics).
We are a full member of WECAN and a member of AWSNA with a Developing School status. The Waldorf School of Cape Cod will be in its 24th year of operation in the 2008 – 2009 school year. Our school is located within a block of the Cape Cod Canal, gateway to Cape Cod and the islands (Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard). The natural beauty of the area is unprecedented, with water and beaches everywhere. A historical atmosphere prevails in all the surrounding communities, with the nearby towns of Plymouth and Sandwich being some of the oldest permanently inhabited areas of the country. We are within one hour’s drive of all that the cities of Boston and Providence have to offer. Also within a reasonable driving distance are the Waldorf training centers at Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, New York and Antioch New England Graduate School in southern New Hampshire.
Our base salary range for a full-time position is $30,000. This would be adjusted for a part-time teacher of a 3-day nursery; however, there is a possibility that a full-time position may be needed, if combined with teaching parent-child classes. We offer a benefits package that includes medical coverage and 100% tuition remission for all salaried employees. The Upper Valley Waldorf School, located in Quechee, VT is seeking a Waldorf trained Kindergarten or Nursery teacher to join our wonderful Early Childhood Faculty for the fall of 2008. Our Early Childhood Program is well established with 2 Morning Garden program days per week, a 3 day Nursery Classroom, and two mixed aged Kindergartens. We have a beautiful new, faculty-designed Early Childhood building to house these classes with individual classroom outdoor spaces, as well as a full outside playground with gardens, etc…
We are a Nursery through Eighth Grade school with a current enrollment of 180 for the 2008 school year. We have many strong programs in place, which include two languages (French and German), woodworking, handwork, movement, instrumental and orchestral music and chorus. Our upper grades are supported by upper grades art, a block teaching program and seasonal athletics in addition to the full subjects. All of our full-time faculty members are Waldorf trained teachers and represent a rich spectrum of life experiences along with their strength as Waldorf educators. Our school is a member of AWSNA. There are five older Waldorf schools within two hours drive, as well as the New England Waldorf Teachers Training Program at Antioch in Keene, NH, and the
Rudolf Steiner Institute in Putney, VT all of which provide ample opportunity for continuing education, conferences and cultural events.

Tidewater School
Tidewater School is a young school located on the beautiful seacoast of the southern Maine-New Hampshire border, only an hour from Boston, MA and the White Mountains of NH. We are a developing member-pending of AWSNA. Tidewater was founded in 1999 by a group of teachers and parents who worked together to bring this school into existence. Our vision is to grow our school to grade 8 and continue to establish early childhood programs that serve children, birth to age 6. AD FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER
Emerson Waldorf School is seeking an Early Childhood teacher for the Nursery, 2-4 year olds. The program for this full time position consists of four days of Nursery and a Parent/Child class on the fifth day. EC Waldorf Training is necessary and the love of young children a must. The successful candidate must be able to work closely with the parents to bring the picture of Waldorf education to them not only in parent evenings but as a daily practice.
