Pleasant Ridge Waldorf School
We are seeking a part-time Spanish Language Teacher for the 2008-09 school year. We seek enthusiastic teachers working out of anthroposophy whose life experiences have strengthened their ability to work with the Waldorf pedagogy and who show a willingness to strive toward: inspired excellence in the classroom; effective working relationships with faculty, students, parents and board; and an interest in sharing Waldorf education with the broader community. Pleasant Ridge is in its 28th year in this rural setting in southwestern Wisconsin. Viroqua is a county seat, bustling with fresh ideas and enterprises. Our school is in the heart of town. We are 90 miles west of the state capitol of Madison, 35 miles south of LaCrosse, and 190 miles south of the Twin Cities. In our community there are excellent alternatives in medical care, strong food co-ops, organic and biodynamic farming and a Waldorf high school initiative. The Cape Ann Waldorf School
The Cape Ann Waldorf School is seeking an experienced, Waldorf trained teacher for our first through eighth grade Spanish program for the 2008-2009 school year. This is a full-time position with full benefits. Our healthy, thriving school now in its 22nd year, is a full member of AWSNA. We have 160 children enrolled in nursery through eighth grade with a program that includes physical education, music (chorus, strings, and orchestra) handwork, foreign languages (German and Spanish), and Eurythmy. Our Early Childhood program includes two kindergartens, two nurseries, and a full-time parent/child program. Our faculty is a diverse, multi-generational group of men and women. OUR SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY City of Lakes Waldorf School is an accredited, full member school of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America.
