Woodland Star Charter School is seeking a full or part-time Curriculum Director for 2008-2009. We are located in the historic mission town of Sonoma, California, just an hour north of San Francisco, an hour east of the Pacific Ocean and 90 minutes from Fair Oaks. Our thriving K-8 school will be nine years old in 2008-09 and is housed in a new campus here in the magical Valley of the Moon. Our teachers are Waldorf trained and CA credentialed. Salary from $50,000, commensurate with training and experience. Health and dental insurance for employee and family, STRS or PERS retirement. Enrollment preference for children of staff. Very experienced Waldorf faculty and broad range of specialty subjects. Unusually committed and supportive parent body; strong, positive relations with school district; recent charter renewal. Applicants should be very experienced Waldorf teachers with deep knowledge of the curriculum and mentoring experience. Cuernavaca Waldorf School
The Cuernavaca Waldorf School in Mexico currently has about 60 students in Kindergarten and about 100 students in grades 1st through 6th. The school is planning to open 7th grade for the academic year 2009-2010 and 8th grade for the academic year 2010-2011. For this purpose the school requires an experienced Waldorf teacher, with thorough knowledge of the curriculum and experience in mentoring, to lead the planning and organization work required for the opening of 7th and 8th grades, including giving advice or some training to the complementary subject teachers for their future work with the students of these grades. The position is open from end of August 2008. The candidate must be able to communicate in Spanish. Ideally, the candidate would be available to become the 7th grade class teacher for the year 2009-2010 and continue with his/her group the following year.
Currently the school offers a full curriculum including: Handwork, Eurythmy, Watercolour Work, Music, Movement Education and English as second language. The school is undergoing the certification process with the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and relies on an enthusiastic body of teachers and a dedicated and strongly committed parent community. Cuernavaca is a small city, one hour south of Mexico City, known for its benign warm weather throughout the whole year. For information please contact:

We are looking for an experienced Waldorf Teacher to lead an already existing Waldorf Initiative in Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico. 67 student from kindergarten to 6th grade, some combiend groups, and a wonderful team of responsible and entusiastic teachers...Coatepec is a small coffee town close to the Golf of Mexico beaches, and 30 minutes away from beautiful rivers.
