MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH/ SCIENCE/ SUBJECT SUPPORT TEACHER FULL TIME OR PART TIME 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR The Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School is offering a new position in the middle school to support the academic development of our students in math and science. This teacher will primarily teach math and science, but may be called upon to teach blocks in other subject areas. We prefer Waldorf trained teachers or experienced teachers with a clear understanding of Waldorf education. We are looking for a teacher who appreciates the joys and challenges of middle school students. Classes to be taught will be a combination of math run-throughs and science main lessons. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with initiative to collaborate with colleagues in a well-established school to develop a new and outstanding program. Our goal in offering this new position is to provide our students with a rigorous and inspiring foundation in math and science, so they will be well equipped with the background and skills they need to ably pursue these subjects on a higher level. Additional duties will be commensurate with a full-time equivalent position and will therefore include regular office hours for students, attendance at faculty meetings and other school events, and participation in weekly duties of school life. High School Chemistry Teacher

High Mowing School, located in Wilton, New Hampshire, seeks a full time science teacher with emphasis on chemistry main lesson blocks and track classes. Other blocks could include topics in physics, life science, and math. High School Math Teacher

The Honolulu Waldorf School is seeking a full time High School Math/Science Teacher for the 2008-09 school year. Physics and/or computer science is also desired. Addition responsibilities include class sponsorship, committee work, and community events. High School Math Teacher (full-time)

Highland Hall is seeking a high school mathematics teacher with a passion for math and experience teaching adolescents. Our full-time position includes 7th grade math and high school Algebra I and Pre-calculus for the 2008-2009 school year. The class sizes will range from approximately 13-25 students. Part Time High School Math/Chemistry/Physics Teacher

HIGH SCHOOL MATH/PHYSICS/CHEMISTRY TEACHER Part time position available September 2008. Requirements include an undergrad degree with Science & Math major & Waldorf teaching experience. Experience, training and/or expertise in High School Administration also a desired asset. The successful applicants will be joining an enthusiastic faculty and energetic community. Vancouver is home to several Anthroposophical study groups, Anthroposophical doctors and therapists and a Christian Community church. The temperate climate provides year-round activities such as skiing, hiking and biking. Vancouver is known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, one of the best places to live, and is a well-known multi-cultural centre with art galleries, museums, theatres, restaurants, colleges and universities. Our school, now in its 39th year, offers a full Early Childhood to Grade Twelve program. Our newly completed and anthroposophically designed Early Childhood Centre houses our Early Childhood programs.
