We are a bio-dynamic farming community together with adults with special needs in five extended households (one in the local community of West Moors). We have a large Market garden and Farm Shop. The farm comprises a small dairy herd, sheep and poultry. We produce cheese, yoghurt and meat. We are part of the Sheiling Trust together with the Lantern Community, Ringwood Sheiling School and Ringwood Waldorf School. We also offer a 2-year bio-dynamic course in conjunction with other BD farms in the South of England.

Chicago Waldorf School
Located in the diverse and vibrant Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, the Chicago Waldorf School is a fully accredited independent school with an enrollment of approximately 400 students. The school serves infants and toddlers and their parents in our Parent/Child program and preschoolers in our Early Childhood program as well as providing the comprehensive 12 year Waldorf curriculum for First through Twelfth grades. Our campus is within walking distance of Lake Michigan and 1 ½ blocks from public transportation (bus and el train). We are currently seeking an Educational Support Teacher for a full-time salaried (exempt) position beginning July 1, 2008. We are expanding our Educational Support Program with the addition of this position. All of our faculty receives ample mentoring and professional development which is coordinated by our Teacher Development Committee.
Preferred qualifications and experience include: a minimum of a bachelor's degree in special education or related field; completion of a Waldorf Remedial Training Program; excellent communication (verbal and writing)skills; demonstrated ability to facilitate between Waldorf education and outside service providers. Preference will be given to an individual with experience in a successful Waldorf Educational Support Program. We seek colleagues with an eagerness to work collaboratively in an anthroposophical environment.

Remedial Support Teacher
The Waldorf School of San Diego is seeking a ½ time Remedial Support Teacher to provide extra lesson work. We serve children from kindergarten through 8th grade and a high school opening with 9th grade in the fall of 2008.
Our school community is diverse and multi-cultural. Over the past 25 years we have evolved from a rented space, to the purchase of our present location seven years ago. A master plan is underway that includes both a new Early Childhood Center and a High School, designed using anthroposophical indications. We are also pleased to have solid and energetic administration. With the strong support of our parents, the operation of the school is guided by the faculty, which include specialty teachers for music, games, strings, French, gardening, woodwork, handwork, choir and eurythmy. The campus includes a beautiful hall that is used for assemblies, student performances and guest artists as well as community events. Parents, teachers, and students also enjoy a lovely Waldorf-inspired school store.
