Boys Dorm Counselor

High Mowing School, located in Wilton, New Hampshire, has a full time position for a boys dorm counselor. The position requires living in the boys dorm while school is in session and supervising up to 30 students, and participating in afternoon activity and other school offerings and events. The dorm counselor works closely with the other boys dorm counselor and the two girls dorm counselors to ensure harmony, standards, and successful residential life for the students is maintained. Dorm counselors are considered full members of the faculty and participate on committees and faculty meetings where a deepening study into adolescent development occurs. This position requires evening and weekend hours. Qualified applicant will have experience working with teenagers, understanding of Waldorf pedagogy, and an interest in being a full member of the High Mowing community. A sense of humor, patience, firmness and warmth are all essential qualities for living in the High Mowing dorm! High Mowing School, founded in 1942, is the oldest Waldorf High School in America, and the only one to offer a boarding program. We have 118 students, with a little more than half boarding. Our beautiful campus is situated on a charming hilltop with spectacular views of the local mountains. Pine Hill Waldorf School, Nursery - Grade 8, is located across the road. High Mowing School is an accredited member of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). We are fortunate to have the Center for Anthroposophy office and summer Waldorf Teacher training on our campus. The surrounding community offers anthroposophic physicians, study groups, workshops, conferences, and biodynamic farms. We offer a competitive base salary for full time employment with increments for Waldorf teaching experience. Our benefit plan includes, medical & dental, disability, TIAA-CREF retirement plan, on campus housing or an off campus housing allowance, meal plan, and 90% tuition remission here, and at Pine Hill Waldorf School. Summer Housekeeping Supervisor

Rudolf Steiner College is seeking a Dormitory Housekeeping supervisor from mid-May to end of August. Responsibilities include: scheduling and overseeing a crew of high school students, back-up cleaning when crew members are absent, linen and supplies inventory.
