Enthusiastic Waldorf Teacher Seeking Position for September 2008 (Email Only)

I am in my third and final year of the Waldorf teacher training program at the Waldorf Institute of Southern California (WISC). I am seeking a teaching position for the upcoming academic year, preferably in one of the older grades (5-8). I am also open to specialty subjects, and feel I possess the skills to teach English, Russian, and Art. I hold a BA in Communication and Russian Literature from the University of California, San Diego, and have worked with children of all ages for over 10 years. I have held positions as a teaching assistant, camp counselor, private tutor, and most recently, substitute teacher. I feel ambitious and prepared to take on a class in September 2008. I am seeking a school in a conscious community, where fresh and youthful energy is welcome and embraced. I am creative, artistic, a dancer, a poet, a musician and I am endlessly curious about the world. It is indeed an infinitely interesting place! Although I live in California, I am willing to relocate for the right job. I have an extensive history of work and volunteer experience, and will provide excellent references upon request. Please contact me for a resume, biography, and any other information you may need. Thank you! You may contact me at 619-337-5630 or via email.

Experienced Waldorf mentor, teacher, workshop facilitator (Email Only)

I have 14 years experience as a Waldorf teacher of grades 1-8. I have mentored class teachers in several schools in the US and abroad. I am available for mentoring, as well as teaching periodic main lesson blocks, particularly in grades 1-6. Interspersed with my years of class teaching, I completed a painting training at the Goetheanum Painting School in Dornach, Switzerland. Knowing what a prominent place the conscious use of color is in the Waldorf curriculum, I also teach workshops on watercolor painting, blackboard drawing and main lesson bookwork. Another love of mine in which I have extensive training and involvement is conflict resolution and communication skills. I enjoy facilitating workshops to enhance these skills within Waldorf communities. I am available to work in any of the above areas. Please contact me for my resume and references.
