Pine Hill Waldorf School
Pine Hill Waldorf School invites trained eurythmy teachers to apply for a 2008-09 full time position. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, able to work effectively with colleagues and parents, and have completed their Waldorf teacher training. We are looking for an individual who will participate actively in the committee and festival work that is so important to the life of our community. Our school is in its 35th year and offers a full Waldorf program for students from nursery through grade eight, as well as a parent-child program for infants and toddlers. Madrone Trail Public Charter School
MADRONE TRAIL PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL Madrone Trail Public Charter School is a Waldorf-inspired charter school that opened in September 2007. The school currently has grades K-2, and is adding one grade per year until it becomes a K-8 school of approximately 220 students. We are currently seeking candidates for first grade teacher. Although our school is young, there is a 30 year tradition of private Waldorf education in the area. We are fortunate to have experienced Waldorf teachers who act as advisors, mentors, and evaluators for our school and faculty. The board of directors is committed to the vision of providing the Waldorf curriculum and teaching methods in a public school of choice. As a pioneer in the charter school movement in this area, we are excited about the possibility of opening up channels of communication with the local public school district. We offer the full Waldorf curriculum, with special subject teachers teaching French, Handwork, and Games/Movement.
