High Mowing Schoold
High Mowing School, located in Wilton, NH seeks an experienced Director of Development. The Development Director will identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with individual and corporate donors to support and enhance the school’s annual, capital, and endowment campaigns. The Development Director works closely with the Board of Trustees, faculty, administration, parents, and alumni to, plan and implement the fundraising and marketing goals of the school, support the Long Range Plan, and cultivate the spirit of giving. The Development Director researches and writes grant proposals, cultivates media relationships, develops public relations, and articulates the vision and mission of High Mowing School to the wider community.
The ideal candidate will have extensive development expertise in non-profit organizations, a proven track record of, successful coordination of large campaigns and exceeding fundraising goals, acquisitions of large gifts from corporations and individuals, and experience in financial planning and budgeting. Qualifications: BA or MBA; Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; Highly self motivated; Ability to work independently, and manage numerous projects simultaneously; Ability to supervise and manage the work of other employees and volunteers; Ability to work as a team with other members of the administration, faculty and Board of Trustees; Excellent organizational and computer skills: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and fundraising software; Knowledge and understanding Waldorf education and values.
