We are reviving our local Indianapolis Waldorf Initiative and are looking for families and individuals interested in joining us in forming a Waldorf play group and starting a Waldorf study group, as well as joining our existing Steiner study group.

We are forming a parent study group with the goal of setting up a pre-school playgroup and exploring the feasibility of establishing a kindergarten/primary school program here in Boise. My wife and I were wondering if there has been interest in opening a Waldorf school in the New Haven area. The only Waldorf school in CT is in Newtown about 30miles from here. Thanks

Waldorf School of Orange County launched its high school in September, 2007. Established in 1987, Waldorf School of Orange County is a strong and stable school currently serving over 300 students from playgroup through grade nine and a full member of AWSNA. I am interested in starting a study group in the Northwest Arkansas area and eventually perhaps getting a cluster together here, so that a group of us can get Waldorf trained. Our group meets monthy to discuss anthroposophy, the philosophy underlying Waldorf education, and to work together to build a school that will engage children's hands, hearts, and minds without the constraints of mandatory testing.
