ALFA - Active Learning For Adolescents is a small project in rural West Ireland providing Waldorf Education for young people aged 12-16 years. Our Active Learning curriculum brings experiential learning through practical/hands on and artistic elements in each project block (main lesson).

The Kildare Steiner Waldorf School was founded 13 years ago in Dublin, Ireland and currently shares the home of the Dunshane Camphill Community. However in the next few months we are about to embark on a huge adventure as we move once again to the wonderful greenfield site ,nestling below the Wicklow mountains, which we have just purchased on which to build the school we have strived for since our foundation.
