The Waldorf School of Louisville was started in 1993. It serves children from Pre-K through fifth grade, and offers German and Japanese language instruction. The Waldorf School of Louisville is located on a beautiful 3 acre campus and includes a Parent-Child Program, Kindergarten, 1st through 6th grades (expanding to include 7th and 8th grades 2004-06). The traditional Waldorf curriculum includes Japanese (beginning in Kindergarten) and German (beginning in 1st grade), handwork, violin, cello, woodworking and eurythmy. A study group and craft circles for parents and community.
