Waldorf High School of Massachusetts Bay is a private faculty-guided school for grades 9 to 12 in Belmont, just 20 minutes from downtown Boston. Our sixth class graduated in 2005. The school is committed to academic excellence, the arts, and the growth of adolescents toward lives of creativity, conscience and consequence. A Waldorf education is uniquely suited to the journey of the adolescent, as it is the task of teenagers to discover their individual strengths, their unexpected passions, and their lifelong directions. Because learning at Waldorf occurs on multiple levels – in the classroom and out in the world, with hands and eyes, through art, music, and travel as much as reading, writing and discussions, students have an unlimited canvas on which to sketch their identities and envision their futures. A rich curriculum and the opportunity to learn with all senses and abilities lets students develop clear thinking, a strong will, and sensitivity as well as strong academic foundations. Participation in clubs, sports teams, the student council and a foreign exchange program are also offered.

The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is an independent school offering a pre-nursery through grade eight curriculum that corresponds to the inner development of the child as he or she journeys from the imaginative world of early childhood to the adult world of clear intellectual thought. The teachers work out of the educational methods developed by Dr. Rudolf Steiner, founder of the first Waldorf school of Stuttgart, Germany in 1919.
We are located on Cape Cod, near the Bourne Bridge. Please contact us with any questions you may have regarding our school. The Waldorf School of Cape Cod, a non-sectarian, non-profit organization, welcomes children of all religious, social and racial backgrounds.
