The Cincinnati Waldorf School offers programs for toddlers through the primary grades, and provides children with hands-on curriculum of academic subjects, arts, and nature studies that engage not only the intellect, but the whole child – head, heart and hands.
Early Childhood Classes
The Cincinnati Waldorf School Parents & Tots, Nursery and Kindergarten programs focus on building a feeling of security for young children in a beautiful, homelike environment. This sense of security becomes the foundation that will allow them to develop their curiosity and imagination, and begin their life-long process of learning.
Waldorf Grade School (First through Sixth Grade)
The Waldorf method of education, through the arts, awakens in children their imaginative and creative powers, bringing vitality and wholeness to learning. The arts, including drama, painting, music, drawing and crafts, are integrated into the entire academic curriculum including mathematics and the sciences as well as land-based studies.
The Cincinnati Waldorf School is located at 745 Derby Avenue, near Spring Grove Cemetery in historic Winton Place. For more information please call (513) 541-0220 or visit our web site at: www.cincinnatiwaldorfschool.org
