How to Join the Waldorf ListIf you have only one e-mail address, skip the following box.
To subscribe to the Waldorf list, compose a message with no subject (or a subject of "--" if your email software doesn't allow the subject line to be blank), and the following command in the body of the message: SUBSCRIBE WALDORF Jane Jones (Put your own name in instead of "Jane Jones.") Then send the message to: WALDORF-subscribe-request@listserv.icors.org You will soon get back a message asking you to confirm your subscription request. Follow the instructions in that message, and then you will get a notice saying that you have successfully subscribed to the list, as well as a copy of the list guidelines. You will immediately start getting e-mail messages from other subscribers, as they are sent out to the list. It is strongly recommended that you use the DIGEST command (see instructions) to receive each day's messages as one big daily "digest". When you want to send a message to all the other subscribers, here's how: Just compose a new message with the same subject line as the message you are responding to (this helps people follow the "thread" of the discussion, and helps those who only want to read messages about certain topics). If you aren't responding to anyone, but just want to start a new subject or ask a new question, make up a subject line that summarizes the general idea of what you're talking about. Then send your message to: Note that this is a different address than the one you used to subscribe! Always send computer commands (such as SUBSCRIBE, SIGNOFF, DIGEST, or NOMAIL) to the WALDORF@LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG address, and send messages for humans to read to the list at WALDORF@LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG instead. (If you have a question about the list or you need technical help, there's yet another address for that. Send it to the list manager at WALDORF-request@LISTSERV.ICORS.ORG.)
